Founded in 2015 by artist Soliman Lopez, the Hardiskmuseum is a unique art repository that responds to questions arising from the new temporal codes of humanity, artistic production, and cultural heritage.
Conceived as a tribute to the digital archives that are the essence of new media, the Harddiskmuseum becomes an inflection device for contemporary thought.
Based on a 2 Terabyte hard drive, the Museum attempts to draw a fuzzy line between the figure of the artist, cultural management, the knowledge society, memory, the art system, and the combination of new, cooperative, innovative, and thoughtful exhibition models.
