Thais Ruiz de Alda

Thais Ruiz de Alda is a technologist with more than 20 years of working in digital and technological environments. A jurist by training, Ph.D. studies in Political Theory and Public Policy, she has been leading digital teams and projects since 1999. In recent years she has been the Managing Director of a software consultancy, co-organized international sectoral events such as Sharing Cities, and BITS JornadasDar, and co-created a techno-politics laboratory. She collaborates with the UOC research team and other institutions. She is currently the Founder and Executive Director of DigitalFems, a social entity that provides technological consultancy services with a gender perspective to companies, public administrations, and entities linked to different technological aspects and coordinates projects such as GenderDataLab or Tecnologas.org.
