Beatriz Liebe y Martí Sánchez Fibla

Beatriz Liebe Masferrer is a theatre director and cultural manager. Trained at the Catholic University of Chile and at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in the UK. Co-founder of l’Altre Festival Internacional d’Arts Escèniques i Salut Mental. She was director of the Centro Cívico Baró de Viver and head of projects at the Fundació Xarxa d’Espectàcle Infantil i Juvenil de Catalunya. In her approximately 20 years of experience in the field of performing arts, she has participated as director or performer in more than 20 shows of different genres and trajectories, including Teatronika (premiered at the CCCB in 2016 and re-released at the TNT Festival 2017, Terrassa), Divisions (Festival Off Avignon 2014), Mon Amour (show and installation, Festival STROBE), Agnus Lupus (show and installation. Institut del Teatre), among others. She was also co-director of the PIIGS Playwriting Festival, among many other adventures. Her irruption into the digital environment came with Teatronika, a project in which she became interested, on the one hand, in exploring the limits of the performing arts and, on the other, in the possibilities it offers for working on issues related to equity.

Marti Sánchez-Fibla is a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He did his PhD at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the CSIC. He did a postdoctoral stay in the Department of Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence at INRIA Toulouse (France). He has recently participated in several European robotics projects (he was principal investigator of the Synthetic Forager project, extending Sensory Motor Contingencies and the current SocSMC). In 2016 he obtained a National Plan as Principal Investigator DPI2016-80116-P. He has published in the most important Robotics and Artificial Intelligence journals and conferences : IROS, ICRA, ECAI, IJCAI and AAAI. In addition to his scientific career, he has participated in the scientific-artistic creations of SPECS, presented a solo robotic platform for research at SONAR 2010, the installation Mixed Reality Robot Arena12, which also passed through the prestigious European technology conference ICT 2010. For 7 years he was part of the theatre company Agrupación Sr. Serrano, as a creative and technological developer.
