Cristina Fallarás

Cristina is a Spanish writer and journalist known for her defense of women’s rights and her activism in favor of Historical Memory in Spain. On April 26, 2018, she launched the hashtag #Cuéntalo, an international phenomenon where millions of women have recounted the sexual assaults they had suffered. She has worked in numerous media during her more than 30 years of profession. Currently, she works as a political analyst for the television channels Telecinco, Cuatro, TVE, Telemadrid, and TV3. She has published 6 novels (the last one: El Evangelio según María Magdalena, 2021), two non-fiction books (the last one: Ahora contamos nosotras, 2019) and one poetry book (Posibilidad de un nido, 2020).
