NFT (Non-Fungible Token), is a digital certificate that, through blockchain technology, is associated with a single digital file. Through this technology, an image, a video, audio, a text or a specific compressed file obtains an identifier in which the name of the author, its initial value, and its sales history, among other metadata, are registered. This non-fungible asset cannot be duplicated or replaced but can be traded or collected in the blockchain network. In the workshop, we will explain in detail how the disruptive technology of the blockchain can merge art, technology, and laws to build an innovative solution for exchanging digital art and collecting through a certificate of authenticity called NFT. No prior knowledge is needed as we will cover the basics of this technology to create your first NFT.
