Danielle Bishop

Master in Modern Languages (Oxford University) and Master in Cultural Management (Universitat de Barcelona). She is a cultural manager dedicated to research, coordination, and management of cultural and educational projects. She seeks to apply her research and practical work on gender, community, housing, creative cities, and cultural tourism to the empowerment of multicultural and disadvantaged communities, as well as the disruption of gentrification and touristification processes. She is currently the coordinator of the European project (Erasmus+) #DiOtherCity, which has created an open course for professionals in the cultural and creative industries to rethink the current dynamics of tourism and create alternative routes to peripheral areas of cities, using digital tools.
